This is the optional Yokomo Motor Forward Conversion Kit. With the use of a redesigned top deck, front belt and rear belt, the 2015 BD7 Black Edition is capable of modifying the location of the motor 10mm towards the front of the vehicle. And this is accomplished using the stock chassis.
With the motor 10mm forward, weight is shifted forward as well. This weight shift helps reduce the burden on the rear tires (better control over tire wear) and improves how grounded the front end of the vehicle feels. The end result is a vehicle with more steering confidence and turning performance. This conversion kit is an excellent way to fine-tune the vehicle for a wide assortment of conditions.
