This is an optional Yokomo B-Max2 Aluminum Top Shaft. This top shaft weighs 5 grams, which is 8 grams less than the stock steel shaft. This helps to reduce CG as well as improve throttle response. Plus, due to the position of the top shaft in the chassis, reducing the weight that is carried high up in the car helps to also reduce chassis roll and improve overall handling. This is a highly recommended upgrade for stock class racing.

NOTE: Yokomo recommends that you combine this top shaft with the Yokomo Nylon Idler Gear (YOKB2-503). If using aluminum idler gears, you must apply grease to the gear train.
