2mm thread but the hex size is not 4mm found on SCX24. It is 3/16, which is the same as a Glock front sight tool, good thing i have one. Bigger than a standard 4mm size nut, looks like a scale wheel centercap kind of. Nice coating on it though and the nylon lock is good and tight.
