The Xtreme Racing Kyosho Optima 3mm Carbon Fiber Front Shock Tower is a Made in the USA option for your Kyosho Optima re-release. This shock tower is a direct replacement for the stock tower, and features the stock shock hole locations.
NOTE: It is recommended that you seal the edges of the carbon fiber with CA glue before use to help reduce the chance of the carbon delaminating in the future.

Xtreme Racing Kyosho Optima 3mm Carbon Fiber Front Shock Tower
While it will fit the original Optima, it does require a slight amount of modification to fit properly. I had bent the original aluminum shock tower so I figured it was time for an upgrade... especially since the original tower was 30+ years old!
