I bought 4 sets of these to hold down lipos in a 1/8 buggy. All 4 sets broke within a week of use. The area holding on the metal ring all came loose when tightening them down. The plastic weld / crimping would pull loose. The losi and tekno straps did not have this problem, even though they were designed the same way.

These are the most durable battery straps I've ever used. I have 12" ones and 18" ones. I can tighten them down as tight as I want to without any issues. When I tighten losi straps as tight as I want to, the plastic linkage will bend. This don't have this problem with the metal linkage on these straps. Also, the losi straps don't have enough length for my battery.
Also, I have broken these straps, but I still love them and I'm going to buy them again. I broke them when I ran my electric losi LST XXL into one of those concrete internet boxes they put in the ground. The truck stopped dead in its tracks and the battery flew out and landed in grass and was fine. At the speeds I was going it was pretty much to be expected that something holding the battery down would break. I'm just glad it was my battery straps and the battery tray mounts didn't crack or break completely.
