Xtra Speed 1.9" Aluminum Iron Clock Mass Beadlock Wheel (Red) (2)
Rims fit Ottsix KLR tires very well, was easy to mount up the beadlocks. These are true beadlocks with a three piece design. Yes, there are a lot of screws along the outside of the inner and outer ring and I did have a few back out after I first mounted them up onto a Veterra Ascender. A quick trip back inside to retorque the beadlock screws and they seem fine now. The reason I didn't give them five stars is that on the Ascender the wheel stub sticks out about a quarter of an inch too far so you cannot use the lockout hubs, to me wasn't a huge deal but it might be to some.

Xtra Speed 1.9" Aluminum Iron Clock Mass Beadlock Wheel (Red) (2)
I have had these wheels for a while now. I have been running them with the Ascender and as mentioned by another reviewer, the included hubs (stub axle covers) will not fit unless you make some modifications e.g. grind/cut the stub axles shorter or use spacers or wider 12mm hexes. They look great and add a fair amount of gravity, and stress, to your rig. My only major complaint is that scale realism demands you spend half of your day carefully torquing 224 (feels like a million) small screws for a set of four wheels, a couple of which felt as though they were cutting their own threads. It's nice to have a tap set on hand. I mounted Proline Flat Iron tires with Proline dual stage foam (trimmed slightly for fit) and here they will stay for all eternity because I have too many other projects that demand my attention. If you like the look and added realism of what is essentially real world beadlocks scaled down for your hobby crawler, these will do nicely. I grant thee 4 of 5 stars because the fit/finish was not perfect, but good enough.
