XRAY XT8.2 1/8 4WD Nitro Truggy Kit
Someone Call Joseph a WAMBULANNC. So you did not buy it here? You decide to give it a bad revue on this site cuase you could not get a good nights sleep until you got this this crapy revue off your chest? Becuase why? You had to pull out your dremel? Stop belly aching and get to fabricating. XRAY is one of the very best products out there. I own 2 xray products and they are the best in my aresenal. I own a HB nitro truggy. Did I have to fabricate? Yes? Did I have to pull out my dremel? yes? Did I break shit? Yes. It is what it is. If you paid $500 for it. You would still Give it a shitty revue. On a site that you did not even buy it from SMH. Anyways this is 5 min I will never get back. XRAY is a great product. Is there room for improvement? Sure. There is always room for improvement for all manufactures.

XRAY XT8.2 1/8 4WD Nitro Truggy Kit
Bought this kit from another vendor, however I need to make my experience known.

First off the price seven hundred and change plus tax. We’re talking about almost an eight hundred dollar truggy. Compared to other truggies you get less aluminum than other kits. You get no on off switch, no on off switch cover, in the USA we are lucky to get a body with the kit. You get old school glue on yourself brake pads. You have to get the Dremel tool out to fit the wires through the battery/servo box. The kit does come with shock oil, diff oil, and even air filter oil. The Manual included is nice.

The build. My first bag was missing a pin for the diff. For the price and alleged superior product this is disappointing. Bags later were missing screws. Other Xray guys have had similar missing parts.

Initial fit and finish was very nice.

Handling was very nimble and impressive for a big truggy on two separate practice days. Took the truggy for a three day race. When I pushed the truggy, landed sideways, got bounced around with other truggies and hit big jumps, actually subjected it to race conditions the front hub/ spindle and hub holders rarely survived a 5 minute run. The design of the spindle is too weak for a truggy, even the XB8 is breaking these spindles, which is why you pillow balls on the XB8. . The metal insert into the plastic is just too weak. The remedy is to buy the 200 aluminum front end, this is a must have, even In the hands of a seasoned vet. Look at any team Xray guys and they will have the aluminum front.

So 700 for the kit, then 200 for the front.

The decision is yours.
