The XRAY XB4 2018 1/10 4WD Electric Buggy Kit was designed, developed, and fully manufactured in-house at the XRAY factory in Slovakia, Europe. Using the most high-tech German and Swiss machines and premium European materials, the XB4 2018 was crafted with XRAY's legendary attention to detail. The XB4 is typical XRAY - precision, professional, high-competition RC car for the most demanding racers, developed with attention to the even the smallest details, and backed by premium service & factory support.
At one of the world’s most competitive off-road races – the USA National Championship – it was XRAY’s Ty Tessmann who brought the first USA National Champion title for the XB4 platform using prototypes of 2018 parts. Tested and successfully run in the highest competition races, you can now pilot the very same car that Ty has been racing.

- Redesigned chassis accommodates lower motor mount to decrease the CG
- Lower motor mounts decrease the weight position of motor and central slipper clutch/diff, improving cornering speed and stability
- Redesigned lower composite central bulkhead fits the redesigned lower aluminum motor mount
- Redesigned side guard allows motor to be positioned lower
- Improved shock absorber lower shims give more precise shock shaft movement
- Improved construction and production details on both front & rear differential crown gears results in quieter operation and increased reliability

Ran the car kit set up with small change on astro, first time driving a xray kit. car was easy to drive with lots of steering crazy fast. Love it!

Car is immaculate. Quality like this is rarely seen in a kit but X-ray delivers. The price is a bit high, but I promise that halfway through the build, you will see exactly why the price tag is a bit steep. My xb418 completely obliterated my b64d on the track and off. I’ll be an X-ray fan for life

I have the 2017 with complete graphite suspension options and a ball diff and center diff at my disposal. All I can say is the build and quality is practically magical if you haven’t built a true high end high quality buggy, and I’ve built plenty over the years. Its stable, the suspension operates at a high end competition level as one would expect from a true high end racing kit, and the whole package screams ready for the track in a way that few 1/10 buggy kits really can This kit when set up correctly can have no problem winning races in the right hands. It’s a true cutting edge race ready kit out of the box and just needs the appropriate motor esc combo with the right steering/suspension setup in the hands of the right driver to make it happen. It’s a proved international competitor. A five star winner.

I went and pulled the trigger on one of these all I can say is you really need to check what Xray's got going on. I picked up a 2017 XB2 CE last year and was so impressed that I had to get an XB4 2018, these are by far the most precise kits I've ever built, part fitment and quality is top level.
