The XRAY XB2C 2022 Carpet Edition 1/10 2WD Off-Road Buggy Kit is the next level in precision chassis design. The XB2 platform, at its core, has been designed to be a highly competitive chassis in any track condition. The advanced "Uni-Platform" design allows you to convert your XB2 to suite any track condition with only a few option parts needed. This carpet specific version is great for medium to very high traction conditions.

Chassis:
The flex portion of the chassis has been updated to increase the reactivity, allowing more space for electronics. Two mounting holes allow installation of optional chassis weights or electronics plate for easier maintenance and weight balance. To adjust the weight balance, an optional weight plate can be installed more forward or rearward.
Suspension Holders:
The rear suspension holders are now mounted directly to the gearbox, independent of the chassis. This will allow for an increase of traction on all surfaces. The aluminum suspension holders feature XRAY Integrated Suspension Settings (I.S.S.) to allow for quicker and easier suspension setup.
Gear Differential:
This gear differential has room for 35% more oil by volume than the previous design. This allows for a great increase to consistency of the differential. To further improve the design, it is also significantly narrower to fit the LCG gear box and move rotational mass closer to the centerline. The gears have been precision molded from graphite material, ensuring a long lifespan and super-smooth operation.

IMO, best carpet/turf buggy on the market. This reminds me of when I went from an RC10 Worlds Edition to a Losi XXX back in mid-late '90s. Kit setup is an awesome starting point. When I re-entered the 2wd Buggy competition after a 20yr hiatus (XXX was my last buggy), I quickly regained confidence through the feel of the car and rose through the ranks to have a very competitive Buggy at my home track. My success changed the track's culture from Schumacer to XRAY. Very, very durable. First upgrades to get would be a rear Aluminum Camber bulkhead and a front Aluminum kick plate - stock pieces break easily. But the rest of the fit/finish and tolerances are way above anything domestic. Prices for replacement parts and upgrade are more expensive than competitors but you're also not breaking pieces either. Mute trade off IMO.

Love this buggy! I been performing much better as soon I switch to it.
You don't need many hopup parts if any at all.
Xray parts are expensive, yes but you rarely break them!
The basic setup goes a long way!

Awesome kit. XRAY kits are always the best to build, the manual is great - clear - and easy to understand. The support material like the large poster exploded view is an awesome addition. The kit setup on turf works very well right out of the box.
If you want to make the car more race ready also order:
XRA326151 (Electronics Tray, 30g)
XRA322312 (Brass front lower arm mount)
If you're racing on carpet you'll also want to pickup the swaybar kits front/rear as they aren't included. Outdoor though you don't need them. Beyond that you don't really need anything else, just buy option parts or bling as you want.
Negatives:
- Doesn't include some option parts that are basically required for being fast on carpet.
- The packaging of the parts is a bit cheaper than the past, all of the parts combined in bags means more chance of damage in shipping.
