The is an optional XRAY GTX8.3 3.0mm Aluminum Chassis, a CNC-machined chassis made from 3mm high-quality Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, redesigned to fit both Soft and Hard composite radio boxes without modification. The rear section of the chassis has been reinforced for less flex on-power, which increases the stability of the car and ensures more on-power control. This chassis was strategically machined in low-stress areas, and then anodized to make it as light as possible without affecting strength or rigidity. Non-essential material below the engine, fuel tank, and differential was removed to allow for the lowest possible center of gravity and optimal chassis flex. This part is intended for use with the GTX8.2 1/8 GT Nitro On-Road Touring Car Kit.
