This is a optional XRAY aluminum front chassis brace, and is intended for use with the XRAY XB808 and XB808 09 Spec Buggies. This authentic XRAY aluminum front chassis brace is CNC-machined from 5mm thick premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, anodized black for extra durability and long life. Ultra-rigid design and unsurpassed strength. Laser-engraved with the XRAY registered logo for authenticity. This chassis brace reinforces chassis rigidity in the longitudinal direction, helping to stabilize the front suspension when the front of the car is too sensitive.

Not compatiable with XB9 2013 spec. this part is great compatiable with 808, not sure xb9 spec.

It would appear that you have to remove metal to make it clear the drive shaft. The plastic one has been moulded to clear the drive shaft. It is listed in the options section of the XB9 parts sheet; but in reality it wont fit unless you modify it.
