Xpert R3HV Quick Release High Speed Low Profile Brushless Servo
I'm using this low profile servo in my 2wd off-road buggy in both mod and stock spec classes. My favorite feature is the quick disconnect servo leads which makes it considerably easier to shorten the lead and clean-up your electronics install. In fact, in the box they include a couple different lengths, the shortest one was perfect for my buggy.

This servo is very fast, consistent, and overall feels great on the track. Zero complaints!

Xpert R3HV Quick Release High Speed Low Profile Brushless Servo
This servo looks great and appears to be very thoughtfully engineered, however it is fragile. I ran this in 1/10 buggy on carpet and chipped a tooth with a wall encounter that my Protek T160 wouldn’t have cared about. That was my fault and if it were a matter of simply replacing the gear set, I’d be leaving this a four star review, knocking off a star because it is too delicate, IMO.
I purchased a replacement gear set from Xpert for $30 shipped and went about fixing my servo. I will give Xpert an A for the machining and fit of the parts. It was the most difficult servo I’ve ever taken apart. I managed to get all of the gears removed, but the pins and main bearing were not coming out, so I decided to leave the originals. With all new gears in place and fresh grease, everything was working great with the front cover off. Then the front cover went on and that seized everything up. I’ve had the front cover on and off multiple times and cannot figure out what is causing the binding with the cover in place. It shouldn’t be this difficult and that’s the reason I cannot recommend this servo to 70% of the people that will likely be using it - 1/10th scale off road vehicles not using a servo saver. If you are going to use this in an on road car with a servo saver, in an off road car with a servo saver, or you never tap a board, tangle with anyone or crash yourself, then I would give it consideration. Just hope you never need to replace the gear set and wind up with a $180 paper weight ($150 servo and $30 replacement gear set.)

Xpert R3HV Quick Release High Speed Low Profile Brushless Servo
I bought 2 servos and they have the same problem. After I missed a jump, or tap a wall, or hit another car, the servos will not recenter. I am mostly an A-main driver, so my driving style is very conservative and I rarely crash. I contacted Hobby Authority Distribution and they said, "Typical conditions that are considered mishandled and not covered by the factory warranty: Physical/mechanical damage due to external impact." So, If you hit anything at any time, according to the Hobby Authority Service department, it voids the warranty.

Therefore, if you are a perfect driver, then this servo is for you. If you have any accidents, or contact with any physical object ever, DO NOT BUY THIS SERVO.
