The optional upgraded XLPower V2 8mm Tail Belt Upgrade Kit (70T25) is specifically used for customer who have the V1 tail assembly, which is what was originally equipped with the standard Specter 700 Helicopter Kit. This upgrade kit includes a larger 8mm belt, and matching pulleys that must be swapped out.
The larger belt has been found to offer increased durability under extreme circumstances such as aggressive 3D flight, or severe temperature changes with the weather.
Note: "V3" Tails which were included with the World Championship kits, or customers who received the upgrade via a different method must use part number 70T26 (17T Pulley), or 70T26-1 (16T Pulley) to upgrade to the 8mm V3 belt assembly.
