XGuard RC Lower Carbon Fiber Reinforcement Plates for the Kraken 700 helicopter aid in strengthening a common point of the model that can break even with minimal effort; the carter (lower side frame) plates. These carbon reinforced plates are thought of as a "doubler", that install on top of the lip of the carter. With the extended screws that are provided in the kit, you'll be able to worry less about breaking the carters on rougher than normal landings.

I purchased my Kraken before I knew about the possibility of the side panels popping out due to stress in the event of a hard landing or a crash. I found these and ordered them as they put the stress across the top instead of two points.
Works great and easy to install. Mine have a little overhang which doesn't bother me.
