The VRP B64/B64D Aluminium "Stock" Front Shock Tower is made from 7075 grade american aluminum in house at VRP. After being anodized, the edges are beveled specifically to help not "dig in" to track surfaces such as carpet and astroturf.

VRP B64/B64D Aluminium "Stock" Front Shock Tower (Black)
I bought this for durability. My son and I are pretty new to this hobby, and we went through the stock front carbon fiber shock tower in just a few outings. The holes in this model match exactly with the stock unit as advertised. This is a solid shock tower. I am on a clay track and I don't expect this will fail ever. The gear box might fail before this does. I expect it would take a very rough upside-down landing on something other than clay to bend this thing.
Of course this weighs more than the carbon fiber model, but if you want durability for new drivers, this seems like the way to go. Right now my skills are the primary limiting factor for lap time, not a gram here, a gram there, of added or subtracted weight. If you need something tough, you found it.

VRP B64/B64D Aluminium "Stock" Front Shock Tower (Black)
We have 2 B64D. We kept breaking the Carbon Shock mounts. Installed these and no issues all weekend. They're nicely milled and made from high quality aluminum. I expect them to out last the rest of the car. These are a must if running bigger high speed tracks. Unless your're looking to shave .01 seconds off lap times, these are the way to go!
