Vaterra Ascender Chevrolet K10 Pickup RTR Rock Crawler w/DX2e 2.4GHz Radio
Excellent RTR crawler. Surprised me and alot of axial die hards. If you feel like not going the usual axial route go with this crawler. Performs very well and I only damaged a spur gear (my faulty due to not tightening the motor properly).

Vaterra Ascender Chevrolet K10 Pickup RTR Rock Crawler w/DX2e 2.4GHz Radio
Great crawler. I wanted to try something new after numerous axial trucks. I think i like this one better than my previous crawlers. The body has numerous options of pre-trimmed truck cabs to change around the rig to your liking. Im a Ford guy so ill be changing my body once this one is no longer usable ;). I like the new bind and drive f100 so i would recommend that because of the pre-installed lights and i always end up upgrading my rc's to my personal radio anyway. My next buy might be the new f100 so i can have different set-ups for different terrain. If you have radio equipment already go for the bind and drive. i bought this from my local hobby shop so thats why i dont ave a "verified purchase"

Vaterra Ascender Chevrolet K10 Pickup RTR Rock Crawler w/DX2e 2.4GHz Radio
I picked this crawler up as a gift for my son with the intention to get him into crawlers and trail runners so we can share the hobby. I bought this at about the same time as a redcat Gen8 for myself. I have Axial's original SCX10 Rubicon and 2.2 Wraith for years as well. This may be surprising, but out of the box, I would say this Vaterra Ascender K10 is a better driver's truck than the Redcat Gen8 and runs like an original SCX10 with all the right upgrades. There is a bit of torque twist I suspect due to gearing choices to keep the pumpkins small, but totally fine and runs great. The RTR servo that comes with it is just Okay. I always put in savox so that didn't matter to me much. The stock 35t motor and ESC are the right fit for power and speed. Well done Vaterra.

Vaterra Ascender Chevrolet K10 Pickup RTR Rock Crawler w/DX2e 2.4GHz Radio
Awesome RTR. Wasn't too fond of the yellow but it has grown on me. I wish they would make a bed to finish off the 72 truck, as the cabin is really nice.

Vaterra Ascender Chevrolet K10 Pickup RTR Rock Crawler w/DX2e 2.4GHz Radio
I received this Chevy 1 week ago. I have used it several times. It is so quiet. The motor strong. And climb? Yes, effortlessly. Any obstacles in it's way, it just climbs it. I am really thrilled with this truck. The tires grab well. And, I did install rock slider pair, but that is it. The truck, with raised body and roll bar w/spare tire looks really cool, I must admit. If your in the mood for a new or great crawler, take a look. I love mine and highly recommend it.
