Traxxas X-Maxx Sledgehammer Pre-Mounted Tires with 24mm Hex. The Sledgehammer tire was designed for 8S use and provide extreme traction and control in off-road terrain. The Sledgehammer's 8.4" overall diameter provides additional ground clearance, while the open block tread design clears mud and debris for great traction in loose surfaces. Package includes two pre-mounted tires intended for the Traxxas X-Maxx.

I put these on my XRT with stock gearing. So far they have held up very well they give you much better clearance. They do perform much better than stock on dirt and grass. Since you have a higher center of gravity it will make the car tip more easily. I use the stock for road and these for off road. I was popping wheelies all over with these tires on as well. They are great for bashing and will help with air control when doing flips. The looks are incredible as well the tread and the bright orange rim really pops. I ended up getting multiple sets since they were on sale. I highly recommend these to anyone doing off road bashing looking for more air control.

Great tires! I bought them for my xmaxx when I had a max5 with a stock motor and they held up great when self righting. Doing backflips and just bashing around. I recently got a spektrum 780kv out of a dbxle and put it in here. I can do standing backflips with out the worry of them blowing. Would not recommend just going from a dead stand still to holding the trottle flat out more than 2-3 seconds. I got a double standing back flip out of mine yesterday. Great tires but they do balloon making it un drive able past 45mph I would say.
