Traxxas X-Maxx 8S 4WD Brushless RTR Monster Truck (Green)
I mostly run arrma vehicles but have always wanted an xmaxx. Not a big Traxxas fan and have owned many. Even most of the diehard arrma purists have respect for the mighty X. Currently own a trx4 and that is the only Traxxas model I have kept as it is a fantastic truck. The design of the xmaxx is beautiful and while I did blow out a front bearing within 4 minutes of my first run that is apparently a common issue and a small one so not going to bash it over that. Most higher end rtr vehicles do need some work prior to being "great" and the xmaxx is no different. Speed out of the box with stock gearing was a respectable 43 so have no reason to doubt the 50mph claim with the optional spur. Upgrading and maintenance on this truck is very simple and again I feel like it is a great design. It is very smooth when driving and handles well. I do think this will be the 2nd Traxxas vehicle that I will end up keeping.

I just wanted to thank the North Little Rock Hobbytown family for helping me make my purchase. Truly GREAT customer service. Oh and the X-MAXX IS A BLAST!! Just gonna run it on 6s for awhile, dont want to break anything. Always a calm break in runs to make sure no electrical issues. Now to work on my Grandsons collection.

First off, I’ve waited like 8 years to be able to purchase this thing! The first battery charge and rip made me sell every 1:10 scale I have. I absolutely love this truck! Big, fast, and durable as hell! I’ve ran it hard, jumping at least 15-20ft in the air, flipping over doing cartwheels! And this thing just keeps on going. No broken parts yet! Built really tough in my opinion, I plan to keep it pretty close to stock.

A-main hobbies is aces. Easy transaction. Fast shipping. My only complaint is with traxxas. The tires on my x-maxx only last about 4 runs and they're shredded. They literally blew apart. The x-maxx is an impressive machine as far as power and performance otherwise. #nevergrowup

Great truck, I’ve owned just about every Traxxas truck nitro and electric except for the newest editions, this is my second Xmaxx, might be a lot of Traxxas bashers out there but I’ve always found Traxxas makes a good balance of speed and power, always fast always powerful yet drivable. I’ve never had issues with stock electronics at all, always reliable always fun, and that’s what it’s about for me. The Xmaxx delivers on all of it, big fast loads of wheelies and just down right fun.

The X-Maxx is a great truck!!! Their are only a few things that were an issue for me. Ripping around the yard it is super fast. Though going over a minor dirt jump the rear lower swing arm pin popped out. That was disappointing. All it took was sliding the pin out and reinstalling the swing arm, pin, and retainer. The other thing that was an issue is two of the tires had come unglued from the rims and one of the rear ones got a slash on the sidewall from gravel. This forced me to purchase new belted tires. All in all a really decent product for the price. I will purchase a traxxas again.

It is so crazy cool to run, but out of the box I had a shock that was put together wrong so I had to rebuild the shock, I emailed traxxas about it and they sent me the rebuild kit for free

Arrived well packaged, but 2 minor annoying issues. Transmitter wasn't bound to reciever. And upper hinge pins on both rear arms weren't properly installed. Both were hanging half out.
Both were easy fixes. Just a QC glitch I hope. Love the X-maxx it's tough as can be.
