Traxxas TRX-4 Sport 1/10 Scale Trail Rock Crawler (Blue)
First RC I've bought, read every review on just about every rock crawler out there. I'm probably not the best judge since it is my first RC, but just like every review on it, the servo is junk. After about an hour, my daughter hit a little piece of concrete and stripped the servo horn. Little sad I thought. And if you got any weight at all on the steers, it won't turn the tires, you got to move to get the tires to turn. But other then that, tough little truck, she beat the crap out of it, hard!! I bought it knowing I'd have to change the servo, so I can't give it a bad review. It's definitely fun and I see myself buying a couple more.

The traxxas Trx4 sport is a awesome truck it's truly ready to run with your battery. The truck is a great crawler it climbs over anything. The factory tires do a awesome job but upgrade to the proline hyrax tires and then the truck really comes alive! Then the upgrades that are available are endless and available at Amain hobbies. Traxxas sure was thinking when they were designing this truck. I would strongly recommend buying this truck it truly will amaze you! The folks at Amain are very helpful in answering questions that you may have about upgrades or anything you want to know.

Traxxas TRX-4 Sport 1/10 Scale Trail Rock Crawler (Blue)
This is great truck! My buddy and I decided to buy trail trucks for our camping adventures and the sport will out climb, crawl and decend his defender trx4. I ditched the crappy Traxxas radio out of the box because, well,Traxxas... That being said, the radio is the weak point of this this truck it comes in at a good price point but for 369$ Traxxas needs to step up the game in the transmitter department. The scx24 comes with a better radio than the sport trx4 radio, buyer beware. With my radio complaints out of the way, the truck itself is fantastic high quality Traxxas durability and design. Other reviews have complained about servo failure I've owned several Traxxas rtr's if you're breaking servo's then you don't know what you're doing. Granted Traxxas servos aren't the best in the performance category but I've never had one fail. The stock Traxxas ESC and 21t titan are a good combo out of the the box. The stock Traxxas ESC is just lacking in the adjustment department. I will be changing them out for the hw1080 quick run and Holmes hobby trail master 21t for added performance. Overall I never thought I'd have as much fun with a trail truck as I have been after buying the trx4 sport. If you've been looking at rtr options in this price point the trx4 sport is a top list contender with lots of aftermarket support and classic Traxxas parts support it's hard not to buy the trx4 sport.

Traxxas TRX-4 Sport 1/10 Scale Trail Rock Crawler (Blue)
This is my first 1/10 Rock crawler after not really being into RC’s in a decade. I looked at almost everything out there before I settled on the TRX-4 even though it was way below my budget and I couldn’t be happier. On my first outing with it with the only upgrade being Treal wheels and Injora tires it kept up with everyone else’s trucks. This definitely an amazing starter crawler.

Traxxas TRX-4 Sport 1/10 Scale Trail Rock Crawler (Blue)
My first hobby grade rc. Fantastic out of the box. I recommend learning how to drive it first then modify it to your driving environment. Check out rc review on YouTube. Francis goes over the vehicle in depth. Weighted steel wheels with Proline tires and portal weights transform the truck for the rocks. The best next mod is the overdrive and underdrive gear sets. The truck will be fine on the trail at stock speeds and will climb the impossible. I put in a 35kg servo ($40) of amazon and a hobbywing 1080 esc also $40 to round it out. The stock esc is loud and annoying and makes really steep desents really difficult even crawl mode. Of course it's the other mods that make the esc not acceptable. Have fun!!!

A great way to get into crawling. Very happy so far no problems and a lot of fun to drive. I went this route because I did not want the 2 speed transmission or the locking diffs.You will be happy with your purchase and as always amain is first class to deal with.

Just getting back into the hobby after 25 years, alot has changed. The TRX-4 Sport fits the bill for a quality trail and backyard rig for me. Alot of plastic parts but it is sturdy and nicely designed. Climbs and crawls over things that I never would have thought possible for an RC truck. Very pleased with Amain Hobbies and my purchase.

Traxxas TRX-4 Sport 1/10 Scale Trail Rock Crawler (Blue)
Unfortunately, I have to wait to run it. Oh Traxxas, when will you start including decent electronics right out of the box. I love the trucks clearance, stance and looks, but the servo failed right out of the box (would turn one direction but not the other) and the response from Traxxas for an unused truck was to send me a gear set, so I can rebuild the servo. I recently purchased an Axial SCX10 II 2017 Jeep Wrangler (poorly glued tires) and an HPI Venture Toyota FJ (weak, but working servo) and no failures yet.

Received the TRX4 truck as stated when ordered very good service. The Traxxas battery and charger I ordered the same day 11/27/2020 was shipped from another location by USPS and I still have not received the package 12/12/2020. USPS tracking states it will be delayed ,it shows to have been shipped back no attempt to deliver !!!! I will not order again because of shipping USPS during this Covid-19 problem. Amain should ship UPS or Fed-X ,emailed amain hobbies and no reply, Don't buy from this company!!!
