This is the Traxxas T-Maxx Classic Ready-to-Run Monster Truck. T-Maxx sets the bar for monster truck performance and fun. There are a mountain of imitators, but the T-Maxx claws its way to the top with unmatched performance, durability and fun. No other truck has received more awards and accolades. T-Maxx is the  best-selling monster truck on the planet.

CHARGER NOTE: The included charger requires a cigarette lighter socket found in full size vehicles to charge. If this is not your preference, Traxxas offers an adapter allowing you to charge from a standard home AC electrical socket (TRA2976).

Now, T-Maxx looks better than ever with a muscular body, aggressive graphics, and low-profile 3.2" Maxx Chevron tires mounted on mirror-chrome 5-Spoke wheels. The low-profile tire design delivers agile handling and nonstop forward bite for maximum performance in any terrain. Strength-optimized bulkheads, differential housings, and body mounts define T-Maxx's reputation for go-anywhere ruggedness and reliability. Thoughtful integration of gray molded parts (battery box, skidplates, shock bodies, and chassis braces) give T-Maxx a fresh look, showing off the fine details engineered into the components. All components are 100% compatible with all current and previous T-Maxx models.

Precision 2.4GHz Control Radio System
With the TQ™ 2.4GHz radio system, you just switch on and drive. There are no channels or frequencies to manage, so the focus is on having fun. The TQ's ergonomic design is comfortable for all-day driving, and its sleek lines are enhanced by an internal antenna that is impervious to damage. To customize the controls, the transmitter's factory servo directions can be easily reversed through the simple programming system.

Traxxas Total Support

T-Maxx includes full Traxxas support. Experienced pros are with you every step of the way to answer questions and help you get the most performance from your model. Toll-free support is available via telephone, e-mail, or online. Traxxas T-Maxx Classic RTR Monster Truck (Blue)
This T-Maxx is not my first nitro and I’ve had many and why the Traxxas motor’s are very sensitive I’ll never know. So I get the truck and yes it’s a beautiful RC truck and I went through the 6 tanks for breaking it in the motor and as I reached and completed the tank 4 it started idling really high and I didn’t touch any of the 3 screws on the motor so I turned down a quarter turn and it started slowing down and I’m like nice so I kept going on and right after the break in was done according to the user manual it started again running higher and higher so I kept turning down the screw that points upwards and it backed off so I’m like this is working out pretty good but when I had to buy more fuel and I get home and I fill it back up to just run it and around tank 11 maybe 12 I fired it up I had everything turned on just as I did in the previous tanks of fuel and I started it up and why or how I’ll never know but it took off like a rocket it was like it was at full throttle and I grabbed the remote controller and I hit the brakes and turned it into my grass yard and it still kept going with the breaks on and I let off the breaks and boom it just takes off and I hit the breaks again and I still had to jog to catch up to it because for what ever the reason it didn’t come with the black antenna wire and no tools and no extra glow plug it’s like I was sent someone’s return I don’t know it didn’t look used it was spotless and I kept calling this hobby online store and it got to the point that they didn’t want to deal with me anymore. So I did catch the truck and turned it off and I took it to a local hobby shop that’s about a hour and a half drive from my home and the guy that fixes the RCs he said that it would be maybe a month before he could get to my t Maxx and he did call me after he fixed it and he told me that the motor was seriously way out of tune and I didn’t know this but the spur gear had a inch long where there were no teeth left on it and he asked me why did I turn all 3 screws I said that I only turned the one that is black and upright and he said that he was very surprised that it didn’t blow up or destroyed anything else and he spent a hour retuning it and now it runs the way it’s supposed to run. I don’t know if I bought a return or a bad build but I’ve only have had this t Maxx for 6 weeks or less and I seriously regret buying this truck and I’ve never had any problems with my other nitros from over the years and I’ll never buy another RC from this hobby shop ever. Maybe they didn’t know but I’ll never know if anyone there tampered with this nitro motor before sending it to me and I paid $500 for this headache.
