Traxxas Steering Bellcranks: Slash 4x4

great upgrade for the 2wd slash or rusty. got rid of most of the slop in the steering, and all of the centering problems caused by the stock servo saver. very cost effective upgrade. traxxas should make this the stock part, get rid of the "stuff" that comes on the truck.

I put this on a 2wd Slash and it works great. The main benefit of this on the 2wd Slash to me is it eliminated the big unreliable white servo saver that never goes back to center. I used bearing as suggested but not the OFNA ones. Protek has a 5x8 bearing that fits at a better price. Part number PTK-MR85ZZ

It's better than the stock servor saver and steering setup, but not by much. The position of the drag link causes understeer at full lock. The outside wheel won't turn as much as the inside wheel. Since the outside wheel is doing most of the work, this is a big problem. On top of that, the arms are far too flexible. The flex under high speed cornering causing the steering to straighten out in a turn. I've tried several different steering options out there for the Slash 2wd. This is probably the best of the worst.

This is great, when I was doing speed runs with the cheese bellcrank, the front wheels would start to wobble due to a weak servo saver. this has gotten rid of all that slop, and no noticeable changes in turnin radius.
