This is the Traxxas Stampede 4X4 LCG RTR 1/10 Scale Monster Truck, with an included TQ 2.4GHz Radio System, 7-Cell 3000mAh NiMH Battery Pack, 4 AMP Peak Detecting DC Charger and blue body. Now featured with this kit are the updated Traxxas iD connectors now included as standard equipment.

CHARGER NOTE: The included charger requires a cigarette lighter socket found in full size vehicles to charge. If this is not your preference, Traxxas offers an adapter allowing you to charge from a standard home AC electrical socket (TRA2976).

Traxxas Stampede 4X4 LCG 1/10 RTR Monster Truck (Blue)
The 4x4 stampede is a really fun, simple truck. It accelerates fast and being 4x4 it stops quickly. It will bounce through freshly plowed farm fields and creaks. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the steering is very weak. It will not steer hard over to either side if you aren't driving it.

I have bought the stampede 4x4 for my 3 year old daughter as her 1st pro grade rc car. I had gotten this at hobbytown usa Wisconsin Appleton location. They had many kits assembled on display to look at. The staff was friendly and Knowledgeable about the products. They gone over a couple of brands with us, also giving us more affordable options. My daughter pick the traxxes stampede 4x4. I was considering arranging granite and the tamyia 6x6 bus. But traxxes offer online help 7 days a week. I felt traxxes is easier to find parts and has a bigger support group. My daughter loves this truck and plays with it all the time. This is the 1sr ever rtr kit I didn't have to take apart and rejust everything. It was well put together, just looked over it and charge a battery and go. The tq remote is perfect for my girl's hands to hold and grip remote. There are no extra trim nobs to screw up. Highly recommend this remote for a beginner. The brushed motor has enough speed for her. You can still do wheelies this this truck but it's a little harder to do. The water proof electronics and a 4x4 was a must have. So far we broke nothing on this truck. It's tuffer then it looks we put lots of packs threw it. My daughter had to have a special stand for it and it's own mat. She always stores it clean and wiped down like it was pulled out of the box. No smudges or dirt anywhere. However any parents out there,thinking about this for there kids. It is a great value and lots of fun, but you are probably going to go threw 1 big huge serious problem that I am experiencing with this truck. She wants to take this everywhere, every time she goes outside. Every store, everyone we visit. She won't leave the house without it. She asks me 10x a day to take it out and drive it. It has its own seat in our car next to her so she can keep her eyes on it. -25 below 0 with 3 feet of snow it makes no difference to hee as long as she can drive it. The 3000mah battery has a decent run time, we get at least 25mins but she's not hammering the throttle. This truck will give my daughter miles of smiles for years to come. Highly recommend this truck.
