Traxxas Rustler 4X4 1/10 4WD RTR Stadium Truck (Red)
I took advantage of the Spring Sale for the brushed version and already regret it. My Rustler 4x4 arrived missing the screw pin for the left rear driveshaft. I ordered a set of pins from AMain that turned out to be the wrong part. I did call Traxxas support but they didn't offer to send the part. I'm currently waiting on the entire driveshaft assembly that I then ordered. I'm sure this truck will be alot of fun but to anyone considering this truck I would definitely recommend stretching for the VXL version instead. Even at the current sale price the VXL version is a better value.

Traxxas Rustler 4X4 1/10 4WD RTR Stadium Truck (Red)
Hobbytown and Traxxas customer services and continues to be great no matter who I've talked to. When I first bought the rustler 4x4 xl5 and it said rtr out of the box, j thought it would come with the wall charger instead of a car charger, but is nice to have the car charger so you dont have to look for a wall outlet at the park or cut your play time not being able to recharge. I have the nihm batteries that came with my rustler 4x4 and slash 2wd but also baught 2 lipos tha th make it a lil quicker and fun. Now I have upgraded my rustler 4x4 to a velineon vxl-3 combo and a 3s lipo and having the time of my life. Some say they only get 10-15 min out of a charge and not sure what they're doing wrong. Even on the 7 cell nimh pack I get about 20 min runtime and with the 2s lipo about 25 close to 30 min of running. And found that no matter the 4amp charger for the nihm pack or a traxxas ez peak plus charger, only takes about 45 min to charge. Thank you Traxxas and Hobbytown for giving this 46year old disabled man who takes care of his 90 year old Grandmother something to sit in my yard and have something fun to do and getting me back into the hobby since I have to sale m ugh motorcycle so I stay in the yard incase anything happens I'll be right here for her. Would LOVE to get ahold of a new Traxxas Hoss but it's a lil more than I can afford. That's why i didn't buy the rustler 4x4 vxl. I got the xl-5 last year when I finally met my dad for the first time in 46 years and he felt he owed me something and I told him he doesnt owe me a thing. But he was instant on giving me a lil $ so he in actuality baught my rustler as first gift to me. I've spent almost as much making it a vxl as I did to buy it to begin with. That's why I'm trying to figure out how to get the Hoss vxl because now I have batteries and chargers, so all I would need is the truck and controller. Maybe one day. Sorry for the story. But kind of answering other qs people may have on the charger and time of running.

Traxxas Rustler 4X4 1/10 4WD RTR Stadium Truck (Red)
This is my first RC since the Radio Shack days. I am hooked. This is a great car to start but I would say that I wish I had gotten the VXL! I have already upgraded the motor and ESC. Many more upgrades to go and the VXL would have already come with them. All in all though a great fun car!!

Traxxas Rustler 4X4 1/10 4WD RTR Stadium Truck (Red)
This is a fun, durable vehicle. It would earn five stars instead of only four if Traxxas sold it with an AC charger included, not the current DC version in the box

Traxxas Rustler 4X4 1/10 4WD RTR Stadium Truck (Red)
The rustler 4x4 is amazing for bashing and hard landings! With a few minor upgrades it’s bulletproof. The brushed motor is fun and great for first timers to RC ...but most people would want to upgrade to brushless and lipo batteries.
