2.4GHz Multi-Mode Transmitter
Connected. That is how the QR-1 feels thanks to the clarity and control of the Traxxas 2.4GHz Multi-Mode Transmitter. The dual-stick transmitter includes a full complement of tuning features and offers the unbeatable convenience of "no channels, no crystals" 2.4GHz technology—and that's just the beginning. Each time the transmitter and QR-1 are powered on, the transmitter automatically binds to the helicopter. Switching between Normal and Expert mode is as easy pressing the right control stick. A bright LED light provides information on the fly, indicating binding status and Normal or Expert mode. Trim adjustments are quick and easy thanks to the LCD screen and digital trim adjustment buttons.
LiPo-Power for Maximum Stick Time
To maximize flight time and fun, the QR-1 includes two 240mAh Power Cell LiPo battery packs. No need to recharge after you touch down, just swap batteries and lift off! Traxxas Power Cell batteries offer consistent power flight after flight, with low weight for high-performance flying. Battery installation is simple; just slide the battery into the rear of the body and plug in for instant airborne excitement.
Dual Charger Included!
The QR-1 is too much fun to wait for a battery to charge between flights, so a Dual Battery Charger is included. Just plug it into a powered USB port, plug the batteries into the charger, and you're on the way to the next take-off. LED's keep you informed of the batteries' charge status for no-guess charging.

Traxxas QR-1 Electric Quad-Rotor RTF Helicopter w/2.4GHz Radio
With regards to my first review, it is confirmed that Traxxas will NOT entertain international customers for any issue on the product. So international customers beware! If you get a bad product, Traxxas will not bother to replace it. This warranty seems to only be good for US. They will tell you that it is not cost effective. By the way its not my fault for getting a bad product.

Traxxas QR-1 Electric Quad-Rotor RTF Helicopter w/2.4GHz Radio
Great little quad put a few packs through it now. Only issue is how much it hates sitting still . It just wants to go so its always drifting around or dropping altitude. Other then that its great, it takes a beating I've dropped if from about 30 feet just to see what it would do. Brushed the little guy off and away we went like nothing happened. Over all great little quad just watch the controls shes a bit twitchy. O yea and glue your blades or they will fly off the motors sometimes.

This is a good little quad! It is very durable and is affordable. If you are new to the hobby this is a good choice. I bought this for my father and I have the bnf blade nano qx. I like the nano qx a little more than this but still, for the $$$$? You can't go wrong!

Traxxas QR-1 Electric Quad-Rotor RTF Helicopter w/2.4GHz Radio
I was an owner of Blade's Scout and MqX and found both to be too fragile and costly in repairs for my satisfaction. When I saw the Traxxas helis, I was sold. The aluminum frame, boom and skid on the DR-1 convinced me to buy one. And just by the looks of QR-1, I knew it was way sturdier than the MqX. I was surprised when I noticed that Traxxas made the dual rotor coaxial heli bigger than the quadcopter. I'm happy that the coaxial IS bigger and far more stable than the Blade coaxial. But I was surprised in the worst way with the Traxxas quad. First of all when you take off with this extremely heavy (for it's size) and sturdy heli it sounds like a mosquito on NOs. Very cool. But because of the nature of these indoor mini and micro helis, they're attracted to objects like furniture, walls and YOU! My QR-1 first "attacked" me on the arm and cut me. Second it went for the face. I've been injured by a micro quadcopter. If this is your first time with this heli, buy safety glasses and stand two to three times further than the recommended distance from it. If you live in a tiny apartment (like me - 600 to 650 sq ft), you may want to reconsider. By the time you maneuver the QR-1 from the wall, that's when it will "bite" you. Or worse, blind you. Traxxas gives this one a skill level of 1. I disagree. It should be a skill level of 20! It flies fantastic but dangerous. I'd feel more confident handing over the controls of an unlocked XO-1 than this heli to a 14 year old. In fact Traxxas should completely seal this one in plastic with a disclaimer that warns you if you're not comfortable with the injuries, return it to them sealed, with receipt and they'll refund your money. Otherwise both helis are much better than Blade's equivalents. Just WAY MORE DANGEROUS for the quad. Sorry Traxxas. But I wanted to warn people before the lawsuits start happening. It's much easier for a kid to buy this one than the XO-1. Some kids are going to get hurt. And in front of their parents. Not a good thing for the hobby.
