The Traxxas Maxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck is the next evolution of the popular X-Maxx basher, now scaled down and expertly packaged into a lighter lighter, more compact 1/10 scale model. Despite being smaller in size, this model sacrifices nothing when it comes to power and durability.

THE MAXX® EXPERIENCE
Extreme power. Extreme durability. Extreme fun! This is the foundation that the Maxx Experience is built upon. With a new Maxx platform that is smaller and lighter, Traxxas engineers took the speed to 60+ mph, tuned it for even higher performance, and doubled-down on strength and durability. Maxx is once again reshaping monster truck fun and excitement.

60+ MPH MAXX® MUSCLE
Traxxas Velineon brushless power hits hard with massive 4s punch and effortless wheelies on demand. Maxx feels like an unstoppable force of nature as top speeds reach an awe-inspiring 60+ mph.** Advanced 32-bit microprocessor-control constantly monitors the output for efficient, long-running performance. The high-output 540XL motor features a beefy, 5mm shaft, aluminum heat sink, and a powerful fan. Of course it’s all fully protected with Traxxas’ innovative waterproofing.

TRAXXAS TOUGH
Maxx is engineered to withstand extreme punishment and intense driving action. Impact absorbing suspension arms soak up the hits with ease. The heavy-duty driveline components have been proven in vehicles larger and heavier than Maxx, so there is plenty of strength to spare. The Maxx chassis absorbs and dissipates impact energy across the entire structure. Huge threaded-aluminum GT-Maxx shocks with large diameter shafts manage suspension damping. Maxx invites you to explore new ways to drive hard and have fun!

Traxxas Maxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Blue)
This is my first Traxxas vehicle since the original E-Maxx many moons ago. I currently own Losi, Arrma, Tamiya, Redcat, Associated, Vaterra and Axial vehicles and now have a Maxx in the stable.
I run a Losi SBR and an Arrma Typhon and Senton so speed is something familiar but still...wow. With the lower gearing and 4S 100C this thing wheelies like an old man with a walker on an icy sidewalk. Punch it at half speed and it’ll still turtle toot sweet so I’m happy the self-righting feature works pretty well.
I’m definitely not a breakbasher who loves to push the durability of a rig but this thing is built like a flexible tank. Head on hits? Boing! Bounces back. Cartwheels? Judges give it a “10”. Five year old granddaughter driving test? Road rash but no hiccups.
Durable? You bet.
Issues? So far so good but I’ve only bombed around with it for a week or so but it’s been a LOT of run time.
Once you get use to the speed and short wheelbase this thing is an outright hoot.
I look forward to tweaking springs and shock oils to suite my driving but out of box is very useable.
Recommend it? Yep, if you’ve got the bucks. It’s not Losi SBR expensive but it’s still not cheap and other brands are less expensive but Traxxas has overbuilt the Maxx and it shows.

Traxxas Maxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Blue)
Fun truck. Fast on 3s. Insane on 4s. It doesn't handle particularly well but after all it is a monster truck, and you will eventually get used to it. If you're driving offroad then you won't really notice the poor handling much at all. Super durable. It can take some nasty hits before it gives up.
