Traxxas LaTrax Teton 1/18 4WD RTR Monster Truck (Red)
This is a very good value for the money. I bought this as a 2nd RC for my son. It looks so cool, it drives fast enough for beginners especially if you are just coming from a remote control toy that you bought from Target or Costco. This is a lot easier to control compared to our first RC La Trax Rally. It is so easy to make a sharp curve. The battery that is included can last for a good 20 minutes average. Of course that will be very subjective depending on how much you throttle it. The body is also easy to mount on and off. Because of its good clearance to the ground, the chassis gets less scratch. I suggest that you get a spare battery. Here is the item number : Traxxas 2925x. Also get a spare body post kit, it is very cheap. Item no. 7636. Mine broke after a bad crash. I don’t blame it with the unit. The unit is durable. Very good for beginners. You can also set the modes. Choices are: regular mode, race mode, training mode. This can be done by pressing and holding the power button. Look this up on YouTube. The training mode will only give the user a 50% power. This is good to set if another kid wants to try it. This will avoid bad crash and a possible serious damage. I definitely highly recommend this unit.

Traxxas LaTrax Teton 1/18 4WD RTR Monster Truck (Red)
this truck is amazing,I bought it for my daughter for her birth day and she loves it. the Teton is well built and a great beginner vehicle. the chassis is made of very good material and the oil filled shocks are a great feature, nice smooth suspension travel. the wheels and tires are nice too they get great traction and the full size controller is nice too. I have it set to training mode and I am so amazed at how fast it still is. This truck is definitely worth the money and a great introduction to hobby grade RC's for someone young or old, experienced or not.

Outstanding little beast! I was amazed at how plush the suspension is in spite of its size! Fast and handles quite well. Novice or veteran will have a blast with the Teton!

Traxxas LaTrax Teton 1/18 4WD RTR Monster Truck (Red)
This is a great choice for a small rc vehicle. It's obviously a hobby grade rc, not a toy. The radio seems to be the typical traxxas tq 2.4 ghz radio, branded as LaTrax.

It's been fairly durable for me. I haven't really bashed it, but it survived a few high speed head-on impacts without issue.

It's great fun building little jumps in the house with cardboard and laundry baskets.

This is 4x4 and goes over grass better than my 1/16 traxxas slash 4x4 due to the large tires on the Teton. It uses the same batteries as the brushed 1/16 slash and MERV.

Super fun, great starter or indoor rc car. Includes everything you need, including battery and charger.

I have an 1/8 Kraton, but this fills a different niche for me. Worth it!

Traxxas LaTrax Teton 1/18 4WD RTR Monster Truck (Red)
Thanks for the fast shipping and support. I just received my second teton the blue one. They are perfect for teaching your kids. It was so much fun I had to have one for myself. Now my grandson and I get to enjoy a great hobby together without worrying about destroying my 900 dollar trucks and cars. Lol ?

Traxxas LaTrax Teton 1/18 4WD RTR Monster Truck (Red)
Great little truck. Super fast and easy to work on. I bought 4 of them. We have larger RC's but we use these ones to bash around the house. We also take these on trips when we don't have room for the big boys. Great value!!!

Traxxas LaTrax Teton 1/18 4WD RTR Monster Truck (Red)
This thing is quick and fun. So far Ive run about 10 batteries through it on grass, pavement and dirt with no problems besides lost body clips but that is normal.

Traxxas LaTrax Teton 1/18 4WD RTR Monster Truck (Red)
It's fun when it's not broken. Literally every single run, I come back with something broken. After a few water puddles the motor dies. A-Arms, differential, spur gear, bulkhead pivots, dogbones, etc.. I've literally had to upgrade so much stuff to this truck that it's 3x the price or more of the original price. I've replaced 3 motors. I drive it just like the Traxxas demo videos of water splashing and dirt and the motor just dies so easily. The servo is terrible also. You literally have to upgrade 75% of the truck for it to be good enough and durable. A-Arms are terrible. The parts are relatively cheap but they definitely add up after awhile. Constantly wrenching on this truck every single time I drive it. If I knew what I know now I would have avoided buying this vehicle. But now that I have invested so much into this truck it's hard to just give up now.

Traxxas LaTrax Teton 1/18 4WD RTR Monster Truck (Red)
I want to like this little guy, but there is a fatal flaw with this RC truck. Let me start with the good: well balanced and portable, very fast and decent run time with option to increase with 2200Mah Lipo. Very fun, versatile truck with quality hobby grade components.

But...the little toy grade motor is lousy! I dont know if it is just underrated for the power output but we went through two of these in one week of modest running, allowing it to cool every 3-5 minutes. There needs to be a better motor sent out when these burn up in no time. Perhaps we were the unlucky recipients of a bad batch, but the motor gets hot quickly even in Training mode! Unacceptable. Now we must baby this thing to keep it from instant death.

Fun little truck but usual Traxxas quality. Wish they made a kit as I went straight to brushless.

Traxxas LaTrax Teton 1/18 4WD RTR Monster Truck (Red)
Ok so I just want to put it out there when it comes to traxxes rc vehicles. Now this is a fun little truck but just like every traxxes I have ever owned break. So if you don’t mind turning little screws than this rc 1/18 scale is for you. First off I bumped into a car tire broke the swing arm no problem I’ll order more got those installed them then of course I want to upgrade the weaker parts so I started with the drivetrain and got steel driveshafts now of course when you make something strong something else has to break so the cup ends on the differentials are starting to flare and bend. I have had a rustler and still have a revo nitro and always fixing something on both but the revo I went all out and dumped few thousand into it now it’s worth so much I don’t want to drive it & the motor I put into it was a big block so the clutch just keeps wearing down instantly. If you are looking for an RC vehicle that you don’t have to fix it all the time look into kyosho inferno neo 3.0 rtr now my inew nferno buggy I have been bashing on for few months now and it is well build rc beast I smash the crap out of it and it hasn’t broken anything yet. Ok thanks for reading and enjoy the hobby ?? Again it’s not like this isn’t a fun RC vehicle just be prepared to repair it no matter what conditions you drive
