After about two runs the "skinny" pin came out after modification the other pin came out just over all a bad design.

Traxxas Differential Output Yokes (Hardened Steel)
Bought these for the Traxxas Slash 4x4 VXL with stock motor, ESC, and monster tires (2.8 Trenchers) because I kept ripping through the stock plastic yoke.

These lasted approximately 10 seconds before one of the U joint pins fell off. Maybe it was a dud; however, the multi-piece engineering (vs. the single piece engineering of the stock u joint pins) looks like bad engineering.

Its a no brainer. These steel yokes are so much tougher than the stock plastic ones. My stampede yokes became loose after several hard runnings and the drive shafts keeps disengaging. I got no issues of that after I installed these.

These are a little better than stocks but not a whole lot. Mabye I just got some bad ones, but after running them for about 2 months on a Castle cm36 motor they have started to round out. Now after about 2.5 months there is about a millimetre of play in them. One of the upsides is that on a sunny day they look shiny and cool. Probably for the stock brushed system these would have been awesone, but for me at least, with the brushlerss system it didn't really help much.

Very good yokes. With the plastic ones, if you ever damage your gearbox and have to replace it, the yokes may fall apart and then these are about your only option. With these ones, you can thread-lock the screws so that it doesn't fall apart. The only bad thing is that when it goes to snow or water, a small part of it will rust. Thank God it's not the whole thing!
