Traxxas 12mm Hex Pre-Mounted 1/16 BFGoodrich Rally Tires (2) (White)

Interesting that these are "Rally" tires. I usually think of rally tires as having some tooth to the tread for a variety of surfaces. In any case I purchased these and used them on a Tamiya TT02. These wheels/tires are 1/10th sized, I have a hard time picturing these on a smaller 1/16th vehicle, but again, okay?! So yeah, these are 1/10th sized, they are very hard and as a result are kind of a drift tire in my opinion. Used on asphalt they don't provide any grip nor softening effect to absorb any bumps. Hope you have great shocks as these tires are super hard and will just bounce all over the place. I really can't imagine what surface these would be used for, on a smooth surface they'll just drift on carpet no good..
FYI, I purchased these in store as they were in a "bargain bin" for like 75% off so I figured I'd give them a try. I really don't like these tires, yet the wheels do look nice. I think for a "shelf queen" they'd be fine. Otherwise???
