ToolkitRC Q4 AC/DC Quad Battery Charger (4S/5A/100W)
Good but not perfect with one critical flaw. Read complete review. I Received mine in last week. I purchased this charger to use as a quick charger for 3s 750mah lipo packs for my Logo 200 heli. The charger is very compact for a 4 output charger with all the features of the larger expensive chargers and is very easy user friendly to use and then add that it's an ac/dc charger which is fantastic. It also fits in the Logo 200 case in the spot where the vcontrol radio would go which I don't use for the vcontrol so this worked out perfect. I have tested out charging and discharging/storgage charging and it worked as it should. Will see how it is long term. Now for the one flaw it has. The balance lead ports do not have long enough prongs exposed to allow balance leads to be plugged in securely and just slight tention or bumping will cause them to unplug and on one, I could not get it to plug in enough to register all three cells. The manufacture should have used connectors with longer prongs or opened up the molded plastic at the base of each connector. Since I'm mechanically inclined, I decided to modify mine by removing the top cover and dremel out the base slots for each balance adapter port which worked perfectly to allow the balance leads to be plugged in securely. Please note though that this was relatively easy to do except for the display connector which was a pain. The display connector lead is not very long and plugging it back in was not easy. For me it required a third hand holding a light so I could see the plug better and then it was a balancing act to get it plugged back in correctly. Once I felt that I had it plugged back in correctly, I tested the charger before assembling the two case halves back together. If the charger did not have this flaw, I would consider it fantastic and give it a 5 star review.
