Theta Servos Razor-TH1 Brushless Low Profile High Voltage Tail Servo
I would have given this a better review, but the servo is not functioning correctly out of the box, it only moved about 5-10 degrees in either direction. I am sure it will work once I have the programer for it and get it programmed. I use an iPhone so there is not a NFC app for IOS and Theta's app will not work for iPhones (IOS). I'm certian if I had an android device/phone I would probabaly be happy with the servo because I could program it. But, as it is this servo should have functioned normally out of the box and been able to be used. I could have a bad servo as well, who knows. I did order the programer for it and I will see what happens after that. As a backup just incase it is a bad servo I purchased a replacement servo (Torq). I just can't believe for the cost of these servos that it would need programming before it worked correctly. I'm definately not impressed, and considering I have bought other brands of servos and have not had a single issue like this. I bought ProModeler servos for my Tron 5.8 and those have been flawless from the start and are powerfull and fast. I have over 30 flights on my Tron 5.8. Maybe I should stay with a brand that I know is high quality and works everytime without issue. Hmmm, frustrating. Maybe I will update this review once I receive the programmer and program this servo to see if it works as stated.

Update - 6/15/2023 - I'm bumping this review a couple of stars from the 2 star I had originally given it because Amain Hobbies is Awesome and the servo is working after programming it. I received the programming box in the mail today and I had to search the internet for a video on how to use it, no instructions (not even a download) came with it. I did find a video on Facebook that showed how to use it. After watching that, it was intuative. I got the servo programmed and it works as expected, actually works really well and is fast and strong. I know it will be good for a tail servo in my SAB Kraken 580.

The product is great, but Fastech is lacking in their information support for their Theta servos and this programmer, wish the information support could be there. Amain Hobbies did reach out to me and offered product support, A big thank you to them as they are awesome. This is no fault of Amain's, it is on the manufacturer. Like I said the servo is now functioning great and as I had expected, but I did not expect to pay an additional $50 to use it. If you're buying Theta servos and you don't have a NFC Android device, then pick up the programming box because you will need it. Functions perfect after programming. It could have been a fluke with me and this servo out of the box, but I was able to get it working and now I am satisfied, will most likely purchase more now that I have the programming box.
