The Tekin RSX Pro Sensored Brushless ESC/Gen4 Modified Motor Combo is a premium level racing package. Utilizing the best materials available the GEN4 has been redesigned to cut weight and reduce resistance, resulting in a purebred racing machine. The GEN4 motor line features a redesigned, precision stamped and pressed stator to increase efficiency and reduce resistance. The stators are hand-wound with high purity copper wire and machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. The motors can be tuned with optional rotors and are re-buildable, making the GEN4 motor a premium performance power plant designed for the serious racer.

Tekin RSX Pro Sensored Brushless ESC/Gen4 Motor Combo (8.5T)
Bought this combo for my Serpent X20 TC, since I needed to put it all together for my first race in almost 20 years. Was going to use it to run stock, but ended up getting this combo with the 8.5 just to get used to a modified motor. The ESC? What can I say? I already have RSX Pro's in both of the TLR vehicles I also set up, and getting them set up and ready to go was a breeze. As for the motor, considering that I was running an 8.5 in a field of competitors with 5 and 6 turn motors, I'd say it was pretty good. Went up 2 teeth on my pinion to try and keep up (on a large nitro track with long sweeping sections), and the motor wasn't even too hot to touch after each run (and with no fan either). If I had a bigger pinion, I might have tried going another tooth or two higher. When I'm ready, I'll step up to the Gen4 5.5 for sure! And I'll get a fan, just to be on the safe side. :)
