The Tekin RS PRO Black Edition utilizes hardware and software advances to improve performance. The RS PRO Black Edition was specifically designed for 1S-2S Spec Classes and Drag Racing to take full advantage of the ULR circuit design. ULR FlexWire is included with every Black Edition ESC. Pair the RS PROs with a 13.5T, 17.5T or 21.5T SPEC-R motor for the ultimate Ultra Low Resistance SPEC system! This ESC is not intended to be used with the 6.5T SPEC-R motor or modified track racing applications.
For 1:10 scale 2WD/4WD Buggy, Stadium Truck and Modified Touring Car Tekin recommends the RSX Modified ESC as these setups tend to run at higher temperatures. The billet housing and fan shroud on the RSX provide sufficient cooling.

Tekin is a 5 star company to say the least. This particular ESC I bought went a bit haywire. This was a first in the years I've been running Tekin products. They honored their warranty and replaced the ESC. I got a brand new one back in a week. Gotta respect people who don't just talk it but also walk it. That being said, I highly recommend this ESC if you're running stock. You'll need the Hotwire to fully unlock its potential, but it's a small price to pay. Thqnk you, Tekin!

Very smooth, very strong brakes on this Esc. I had to turn them down from I was accustomed to on another brand Esc. With 13.5 wheeler l, a very good Esc for spec racing. Highly recommend!

WOW! I wish I would have of purchased this last year to save me the time and frustration I had with my other 2 previous ESC's. I was able to see better results in one test session vs. the many hours and times I tried with the other ESC's. I didn't want to go bananas with the speed so I paired it up with a Tekin 9.5 turn motor to be competitive with my Traxxas Drag Slash but hopefully faster. This ESC has all the bells and whistles to make the car go that much faster in a shorter amount of time. With one session, I was able to get 50 mph in 2.9 seconds and I'm sure the combo has just a little bit more to offer.

Love Tekin and this esc didn't let me down. Have it in a DR10 with 4.5 motor that thing moves.Once again Tekin with a quality product. Perfect esc for no prep drag racing. I would recommend a fan not necessary but it helps.

Little guy packs a punch for my no prep Rc application. Works flawless Paired w/ the Bluetooth Hotwire. I recommend this esc for no prep drag racing. 480 amps per phase!.

Bought this rs pro black for my traxxas based No Prep drag car. Noticeably more power delivery over the xr10 pro I was using. Only wish is that tekin comes out with a version that has a cooling heatsink and fan. I used a small 5v fan plugged into the receiver pointed at the solder posts and it keeps nice and cool.

As far as the speed controller goes, well it’s junk and Tekin customer service is horrible. Received the speed controller, installed, plugged in the battery and double red blinking lights. Says there’s a short. Check the wiring, motor, sensor wire and it’s all solid. Call Tekin and they say well send it to us and if we determine it’s not user error we’ll fix it and send it back. Could take a while because of Covid. Oh so you got my money, now my shipping and I’m sure it’ll be user error and a bill. Been doing this 40 years folks, it’s not user error. Called A-main and was told they’d accept the return knowing they’d never get their money back from Tekin. Hey Tekin, that’s how you do customer service. Amain gained a customer for life. Tekin lost one and I’ll make it my mission to bad mouth them at every race, every crawler meet, every drag meet and anytime anyone will listen. So listen up AMain folks. Don’t do it. Grab that hobbywing pro or that Maclan. Stay away from the Tekin junk.
