Tekin Redline T8 GEN3 4038 1/8 Truggy Competition Brushless Motor (2000kV)
The changes Tekin advertised are legit for this product. I replaced a Gen 2 2000kV Tekin T8 with this new Gen3 version about a week ago. After two runs the improvements are more than noticeable. This motor is smoother from from the first trigger squeeze all the way to full throttle. Same goes for braking. Where I noticed a difference is in horseshoe turns and 180s. I thought the oversteer I was getting on corner exit was set-up instead of motor. Additionally, this motor runs cooler than the previous generation. My temps never got above 128 degrees after runs that took my ProTek 6500mAh HV 4S pack to LVC.

Tekin Redline T8 GEN3 4038 1/8 Truggy Competition Brushless Motor (2000kV)
The Tekin T8 Gen 3 2000kV truggy motor is nice and smooth. It has gobs of tork which helps you power out of corners and great top end so you can romp down the straight aways. The power is smooth and predictable to help keep you under control all the way around the track. I really like this motor. Two thumbs up!

In my opinion the perfect motor for a 1/8 truggy not too much power just right I use a 15tooth pinion but lately been trying a 16tooth pinion this is my second motor and both have been running great
