Tekin Redline T8 1/8th Scale Buggy Competition Brushless Motor (2650kV)
This is a fast motor. Perfect motor for outdoor bashing. Take it out to the desert, gear it right and this thing will fly into the stratosphere. I've owned several Tekin 8th scale motors. They are very high quality and durable. You should clean them occasionally though and check for wear on the bearings. They have a Youtube video out for that purpose. Very simple process. Now, I do need to point out that this motor is NOT good for racing. Especially on 4S. It's too fast and inefficient. Some drivers have run them on 3S and it seems okay, but they just don't get great run time on them. If you are going to race on 4S, then you will want the 1900kv or the 2050kv. If you are basher though, and you want to go fast, then this is the motor you want.

Tekin Redline T8 1/8th Scale Buggy Competition Brushless Motor (2650kV)
Further to my previous review: Tekin have been a pleasure to deal with and have sent though a new rotor plus a spare and other token gifts which wasn't required but very kind of them, so all in all a great motor with awesome aftersales service if required...highly recommended! -//- Very powerful motor...I'm running w/RX8 as combo in my Hong Nor X1 Pro 1/8 buggy 47t spur/13t pinion 4S 5000mAH 30C...motor runs very cool max temp 87 DegC just hacking around in the dirt. Speed approx 80-90km/hr Unfortunately on the 3rd pack, so run time around 40mins total, the rotor seperated from magnet and jury's still out if i get support; still waiting on tekin to return my email. So generally great motor, well finished on the outside, poor design/construction on rotor though! Will update this review if I get a new rotor with no seperation issues.
