Tekin Pro4 4-Pole Brushless Motor w/5mm Shaft (4,600kV)
One of the best out of the three they offer in this series. The 4,600kv in my terra bugger ; ) and 4,000kv in my scte ran hard and no probe. I pretty much use Tekin for it reliability and efficiency and compact size. Anyway I am not a paid spokes person just a consumer who really likes Tekin electronics, because they work for me and many other at my local track without any issues. The Pro 4's can run hot but that is why you gear it properly and don't make a user error. Take as it you will my 2 pennies. Tekin Rocks!!!!

Tekin Pro4 4-Pole Brushless Motor w/5mm Shaft (4,600kV)
I am a Tekin user from day one but I will only write what I know to be the truth.
I have purchased many Tekin products. I have had two RX8 GEN2 ESC's fail and 1 motor fail. The motor was probably a fluke and the ESC's, well it happens.
For this 4300kv motor though, it didn't fail. It did cog. I bought two and they were literally miles apart in performance. I used them in the same truck on the same day under the same circumstances with the same ESC and settings and the top end speed was 4-5 mph slower on the second one I purchased. I actually could tell the very first day I put it in something was wrong due to speed and power. I tried different gears, thought about tire spin, etc. Finally, I took my son and we jumped our Tekno's on our home track. His was jumping 8-10 feet farther on both jumps we were testing on. Both jumps were made for RC. I couldn't understand so I finally walked in the house and took his motor out and out it in my truck. No other changes at all. I was landing exactly where he did and like I said, 8-10 feet farther. My wife is a science teacher and we did some testing. The amp draw was different but that was all I could find with what I had. I know Tekin makes its items in China and I am sure they do not care about RC so my guess is I received a poor motor. What sucks is the NEW motor was put into a new Tekno SCT410.3 with every upgrade possible and I just now found out why I couldn't clear triples. I thought it was chassis slapping, gearing, diff oil, suspension setup and I even changed the ESC twice, the servo once and the receiver once. Just a bad motor. In all, it was only $3,000+. I'm ready now though.

Tekin Pro4 4-Pole Brushless Motor w/5mm Shaft (4,600kV)
ppl for any1 considering this baby BUY IT. i ran it head to head with my freinds sidewinder sct and mmp sct combos and this monster when paired with the rx8 is unstopable. on 2s this beast killed the mmp and the sidewinder when they were both running 3s. this motor has been put through hell trust me. it says limit to 2s lol. on 2s itl do around 40mph depding on gearing i was on a hyper10sc 14/42. then i slapped in a 4s and it was easily doing 70mph. on 3s expect 55-60mph. this motor tho only "rated" to 2s can run 2s 3s 4s no probs. dont worry about heat. and if u have an rx8 u can unlock the raw power hidden with in this mini monster
tons of get up and a ton of low end grunt to get it moving fast. with the rx8 hotwire timgin adv this motor will be pulling wheelies on ur sct even if u have a center diff

Tekin Pro4 4-Pole Brushless Motor w/5mm Shaft (4,600kV)
On the incredibly off-chance that our sun burns out and we need a replacement, we can simply send a few of these babies into orbit and turn them on. They should provide sufficient heat for humanity survive at least another millennia or two.

Ran this motor when they came out. Ran hot, went to viper XL motor and it was way cooler. Power was very similar.
