The Tekin Gen4 Spec-R Sensored Brushless Motor has been engineered for performance. Utilizing the best materials available the SPEC-R has been redesigned to cut weight and reduce resistance, resulting in a purebred Spec racing machine. On Road or Off, the SPEC-R handles all disciplines, providing smooth power and control across the full RPM range. The SPEC-R is competition performance with the speed you need to win.
The GEN4 motor line features a redesigned, precision stamped and pressed stator to increase efficiency and reduce resistance. The stators are hand-wound with high purity copper wire and machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. The motors can be tuned with optional rotors and are re-buildable, making the GEN4 SPEC-R motor a premium performance power plant designed for the serious racer.

Hate this motor, already going back to Tekin for repairs after only 6 weeks in a 1/10th pan car

Tekin Gen4 Spec-R Sensored Brushless Motor (17.5T)
I went out to my local off-road track with a Just Stock system and was so far off the pace that I know I needed to do something. I had a gen 3 ESC laying around so I bought the motor. And boy oh boy was this the right motor for the job. My 22 5.0 was just killing it when it came to speed this last time out. I haven't touched timing on it and I'm running recommend gearing. Motor stays cool looks great and just has amazing power.

Motor was bad out of the box. The senor board was bad and Amain wouldn't swap it out very discouraging that Amain wanted me to send it to tekin for their warranty and wait 45 days to get a motor. Instead of taking care of it in house when I offered a ship it back to him and then trade me out they wouldn't do it. Motor never even saw the track.
