The Tekin Gen4 Spec-R Sensored Brushless Motor has been engineered for performance. Utilizing the best materials available the SPEC-R has been redesigned to cut weight and reduce resistance, resulting in a purebred Spec racing machine. On Road or Off, the SPEC-R handles all disciplines, providing smooth power and control across the full RPM range. The SPEC-R is competition performance with the speed you need to win.
The GEN4 motor line features a redesigned, precision stamped and pressed stator to increase efficiency and reduce resistance. The stators are hand-wound with high purity copper wire and machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. The motors can be tuned with optional rotors and are re-buildable, making the GEN4 SPEC-R motor a premium performance power plant designed for the serious racer.

I purchased 2 motors at first. Then an additional 1 after needing to send 1 of the first 2 back to Tekin.
1 motor the timing screw fell off and ended up back inside the motor because of the magnetism. This caused internal damage to the motor. The 3rd motor we purchased to replace this one while it was in for RMA-the 3 can screws fell off after a track day.
The 2nd motor has been running perfect.

Tekin Gen4 Spec-R Sensored Brushless Motor (13.5T)
Good little motor. Came with set timing at 30* which is fine for mod motors, but the other stock motors I have purchased previously have had a timing point set whether they are Motiv, Trinity, Maclan or R1. Once putting it on the analyzer and finding its happy place is about 56*, this motor rips. Longevity is the next test.
