  • Improved suspension geometry
  • Variable motor and center differential angles
  • Dual battery and ESC locations
  • Large-bearing spindles and hubs
  • 15° caster blocks with adjustable spindle height
  • Aluminum shock caps with threaded bleeder holes
  • Molded driveshaft and dog bone boots
  • Aluminum shock towers with updated camber link and shock location holes
  • Cab-forward body

In Depth Features:

  • Revised Suspension Geometry: Updated suspension geometry makes it easier to turn faster lap times with fewer mistakes, particularly when harnessing the power of a high-output brushless motor system.
  • Variable Motor and Center Differential Angles: Two different center plates for the bottom of the chassis are included. The stock center plate puts the motor and differential directly in line with the chassis. The optional center plate rotates the motor and differential 4.4 degrees, creating equal angles between the front-center and rear-center dog bones. This provides more balanced power to the front and rear of the car under acceleration.
  • Two Battery and ESC Locations: The chassis offers two locations for the battery and ESC. With the battery in the forward location and the ESC in the rear of the car, the vehicle has more forward weight bias which improves stability on high-speed tracks. Moving the ESC forward and the battery to the rear mounting location provides a rear weight bias that increases corner speed and makes handling more agile.
  • Large Bearing Spindles and Hubs: Front spindles and rear hubs have been revised to accept a larger 8 x 16 x 5 outer bearing for increased durability.
  • Adjustable Caster Blocks: The adjustable, 15-degree caster blocks make it possible to tune dog bone plunge by changing the height of the spindle.
  • Bleeder Shock Caps and Seals: The bleeder shock caps and internal seals allow for easier rebuilds while using an emulsion shock setup. Updated bushings that press into the shock cap further improve durability.
  • Driveshaft and Dog Bone Boots: Molded rubber boots on the CVAs and center drivetrain dog bones increase U- joint life by holding lubrication in and keeping dirt out.
  • Redesigned Shock Towers: The machined aluminum shock towers have updated camber link and shock location holes that give racers more tuning options for changing track conditions.
  • Cab-Forward Body: The cab-forward body moves aerodynamic pressure further forward on the car, which improves steering.

Team Losi Racing 8IGHT-E 4.0 1/8 Electric Buggy Kit
I researched a lot of ebuggies before buying this one. I looked at every single one on here and youtube, and I kept coming back to this one. And..clicked and bought it. I've had this on the track now twice for about 7-8 hours each day and it kept getting better and better. I run on an indoor, tight clay track and I built this all stock except..the diffs I'm running 5f,10middle and 7000 rear. Shocks, 40 front and 27 1/2 rear. Ride height is 27 front and 28 rear. Other than those settings, it's all stock and performs so well. Tons of steering. Jumps and lands beautifully. Losi makes a really good shock and it shows when you are coming down from a huge double. The build and manual were great, every screw, every shim, every part...goes exactly where they tell you to. Didn't have any wrong screws or anything. The manual is easy to read, but if this is your first good kit, take your time and DO not rush this built. Some things I wouldn't call for a newbie, but please take your time and read everything on the page you are on at the moment. Durability...been on the track twice now and have had some big crashes while getting the setup right and I'm very surprised nothing broke. I will say this, you will need to loctite a few things on here. I even used a dab of red loctite on a few things. The set screws that hold the outdrives on the front and rear diffs, the main outdrives, I ended using a dab of red loctite because even with blue, they came loose. And a dab of red on the two screws underneath that hold the center diff, brace onto the chassis. You will need standard and a 1.5mm tools when building this so, if you don't, get a good set of standard drivers before building this. I chose MIP like my metric ones. Other than that, this is a great kit. I love the fact it has a nice, slim chassis. Not wide like a lot of the other brands do. This looks like a big 1/10 4wd. But, without making this review too long, it's a great kit and if you have been researching a lot of them like I did, get this one. It's worth it.

Team Losi Racing 8IGHT-E 4.0 1/8 Electric Buggy Kit
This was my first 1/8 buggy ever, my first race quality vehicle I have ever owned, my first kit I've ever built and I can say I'm really impressed. The stock setup is great. It doesn't have a lot of steering out of the box but it has enough steering so anyone can drive it. I've had this buggy for 9 months. I didn't mess with the stock settings but once you get the hang of how this car wants to handle and how hard you can push it in turns it gets very easy to turn in clean laps. If there is a jump on the track that you need to go full throttle to clear and you land it perfectly on the down ramp the car lands super smooth. No bouncing or bottoming out at all. The suspension soaks up the landings perfectly. The manual is a little unclear on how the cv boots go together but other than that it's an all around great car.
