This is the Team Integy T2 Motor Heatsink with Fan, intended for use with the Traxxas Stampede and Slash 4x4 kits. When it comes to electric motors heat is the enemy. Keep your temperatures in check and your motor running efficient and cool with Team Integys T2 Motor Heatsink with Cooling Fan. The motor heatsink clips right onto the motor, and features an anodized coating and multiple heatsink fins for added cooling surface area. The 35mm cooling fan is designed to run off a 12.0VDC (3S LiPo) power source, powered through a standard 2-pin Rx plug.

NOTE: Instructions for installation are not included; if you do not know how to install the part, please ask your local dealer for assistance. All products require some prep out of the package - some components are assembled for packaging purposes only, so we strongly recommend that you check all metal-to-metal fasteners for tightness, check fitment and adjust if needed, and use liquid thread-lock where applicable. Failure to do so is not a warranty-related incident.

Team Integy T2 Motor Heatsink & Cooling Fan (Blue)
I purchased this setup to install into my 4-Tec 2.0 on road parking lot basher and speed run car. It fits properly on the stock traxxas brushless motor, but I found that the fan was installed upside down from the factory... It had been years since I bought any Integy stuff, and constant issues like this is why. Something as simple as installing a fan onto a heat sink and somehow they got that wrong. I know its about a 1 minute fix for me, but installing the fan onto the heatsink is the only thing during the manufacturing of this part that wasnt done by a machine or robot so an actual person had to manually install it. Even with a 50/50 shot they got it wrong LOL. Anyway, once I fixed that and got it all hooked up it ended up working as I had hoped. No other problems with the part. It doesnt seem to spin as fast as the Protek aluminum fans I have in a couple other rigs, but it works, but im sure that is because those fans are connected to systems set at 7.4v and this one is running at whatever the stock Traxxas esc puts out.. pribably 5v or 6v at most?

I did have to use some thin double sided tape to prevent the heatsink from rotating around the motor fairly easily, but its an easy fix.

Team Integy T2 Motor Heatsink & Cooling Fan (Blue)
So I bought this setup for my 2wd slash I was racing on an off-road dirt track. I would not recommend this for anyone in any kind of dusty track. The fan didn’t make 1 heat at 4 min rounds. I would say the heat sync alone is worth it but they aren’t using a standard sized fan., they use a 35 X 35 fan so just replacing the junk fan with a quality one isn’t really an option. All in all I would stay away from this and spend it on one that holds a standard fan. The heat sync did fit the velineon motor good though so I have to give them credit on that one, cus not a lot fit the slash 2WD setup.
