Team Associated TC6.1 Factory Team Worlds 1/10 Electric Touring Car Kit
I'm just a few hours into the build into the build and I'm already suffering from buyers remorse. Don't get me wrong, the car is great. It's just Team Associated seems to have throttled back on their quality control. First, each new page of the instructions is an adventure. Things are not always in the bags they are supposed to be in and sometimes they are not even in the same bag, but spread out over a couple of bags. I'm an experienced kit builder so for me, it's like an Easter Egg hunt. For a new builder, it could be a showstopper. But wait ... there's more! If that were not bad enough, when you do find the correct bag, parts may be missing. I'm off to my local hobby shop in hopes they have 31348 (diff pins and shims ... short one shim) and 31305 (turnbuckles ... instead of 14, I only have 13). And I still have 14 pages in the instruction manual to go. If you still have your heart set on the TC6.1, I recommend you purchase it from a local hobby shop where you have a good relationship. You may need it if parts are missing in your kit too. If you have to wait a few days to receive each missing part online, you may never get the kit finished. Me, I just want to finish the kit so I'll bite the bullet and purchase what's missing locally. At least the parts are available everywhere. Today ... I wish I had either spent the extra money and purchased the Team Durango DETC410 or saved a boatload of money and purchased the TC4. Since it's already built, you would at least know all the parts are there. I've been a TA customer since the RC10 days. If you go with the TC6.1, I hope your experience is better than mine.

Team Associated TC6.1 Factory Team Worlds 1/10 Electric Touring Car Kit
I really like this car/kit. I enjoy building sophisticated kits. The more hardware the better for me. I enjoy building more than driving. I have 7 cars/trucks at the moment and 2 haven't even been driven. This kit has adjustments galore! If you enjoy a fast car at a resonance price. Grab one while you can
