I got one of these for my birthday from a buddy, he got us each one to race. I've had losi micros and minis and loads of 1/10th scale trucks. I probably wouldn't have bought one of these just because of how simple they are compared to some other mini and micro options. But after driving the one my buddy got me for two days, I've ordered two more for my little siblings. I've never had an rc that is so much fun indoors. It'll hit top speed in about five feet and it's just perfect for an indoor course. They handle beautifully on carpet and smooth cement, and even grip on tile and hardwood if you're gentle on the throttle or treat the tires with simple green beforehand (or both). I will say that I had a brief moment where the throttle trim somehow got off center, but a simple off and on again of the remote and car fixed it right away. Overall I could not be happier with these trucks, and don't think there's any major flaws to speak of. They are the perfect indoor RC.

This thing is amazing! I bought it for my little nephew to get him started into the rc world. Apparently everyone else had the same idea but bought from big store brands. Everyone kept talking about how fast and well mine handled compared to theirs. I race a b6d b64d and I had a blast with this little thing!
One complaint is little kids like to press down really hard and push cars like it’s a matchbox car, and it did bend the rear axel. We tried to straighten it back out but it still has a little hop in its step now. Overall it’s still goes almost perfectly.
I’m going out to buy one for me now as well!

I've had my little sc28 for a while now, and have been having a blast with it. Works best on smooth surfaces, especially hard wood floors. Bought a few more and mounted them with Tiny whoop style cameras for hardwood racing with the grand kids in FPV. Try the FPV, every video racing game is left in the dust!

Team Associated SC28 Lucas Oil Edition 1/28 Scale Short Course Truck
My coworker and I just purchased SC28's and we couldn't be happier. These little trucks are so much fun to drive around in our office. The run time has been in the 20-30 minute range which is unheard of for something this size. The trucks drive and handle well, and are just a blast to drive. I love the simplicity and durability. We have been jumping ours a lot and they handle the bumps and crashes just fine. Being able to buy parts is a huge plus too, and Associated always has this area covered. I purchased a clear body for mine and will paint it up like my T5M when I get time. Overall this is a superb value, lots of fun for $50. I wish they would consider releasing a buggy version, that would be fun too.

Team Associated SC28 Lucas Oil Edition 1/28 Scale Short Course Truck
I've owned my sc28 for 3 days now. Everything is perfect with it: simplicity, charge time to run time ratio, speed, durability, performance, looks, everything. My 4 and 10 year old girls love it too. Great to have something to sun indoors and outdoors. I wish the body was a little more stable to the body posts, but overall, amazing for $50. I know Associated would not sell something that is not of highest quality. Will be interesting to see durability over the months to come.

Ok, I've owned my sc28 for just a few days now. Every time I use my truck the wheel pins, that act as axles connected to the wheels, come loose and sometimes wheel flys off. I have to check the pins to make sure they have not come loose every few minutes. The truck performs well otherwise, except for the rear end getting bounced around when hitting cracks bigger than something very small.

This truck is meant for indoors or a garage or very smooth driveway/parking lot. It performs awesome on short carpet.
