Awesome toy to run around the house. Can not beat the price. The smaller control is perfect for my 4 year old.
I would give this 5 out of 5 if it came with a USB charger, and not an additional item to buy.

Perfect balance of speed and handling for a micro. Great traction on carpet and hardwood floors. Impressive run-time for a vehicle this small. Small ramps built from cardboard or similar enhances the fun with this micro short course truck, it is definitely in its element jumping and the suspension soaks up the jumps very well. No bad handling tendencies, it does not roll over easy and even the jumps will usually find the truck bounce once and keep going. Be sure to clean the axles of the carpet fibers every once in a while if running on carpet, the wheels simply pull off so it is easy to do. Overall I feel the price to fun ratio is high with the SC28. May want to consider buying the optional USB charger to save your Tx batteries. If you are considering the SC28, buy with confidence and have fun!

People that don't give great reviews for this product don't understand this is not intended to be a $300 truck. I bought 3 of these for Christmas. 1 for me, and 1 for each one of my sons. My kids fell in love with them. They're small enough to run in the house. Keep in mind though, these are not to be run in yards or gravel because of the Low chassis. We haven't had time to take them outside yet due to weather, but can't wait to build a small track in the driveway. You could also run them very well on packed dirt. Once again, these aren't meant to be $300 R/C cars, but i would definitely buy them over any department store $50 r/c. Good way to enter the world of real R/C and get experienced changing out parts. all parts can be purchased if or when they do break. Would buy again.

I also bought two of these for my kids for Christmas. Awesome little cars, perfect speed for its size. Quality is good and these work great. We've built a few indoor tracks and one in the garage, ...provided many hours of fun. I was so impressed with the two "Fox" edition kits I purchased for my kids that I am going to get a 3rd "RC28" for myself (as soon as they are available).
Charge lasts a long time, roughly a full 30mins of drive time.

Bought two of these in hopes to replace the discontinued Losi 1/24 SCT (best indoor rc ever) You get what you pay for Cheap quality, cheap car. Internal plug to charge the battery broke off within a few days, Suspension components are a joke. I love associated products but this one missed the mark. Spend the money and get a better quality RC.
