High Performance 1:8 RC Race Buggy!
The Team Associated RC8B4e Team 1/8 4WD Off-Road Electric Buggy Kit is designed to push the limits of off road racing. This buggy has been given a huge overhaul and features updated battery configurations, front upper and lower arm design, rear arm design, chassis braces and rear hub design for peak performance. The front-end geometry has also received updates allowing for increased stability and more consistent steering through the entire steering throw. All of these features come together for a buggy that is ready to dominate the track.
About the RC8B4e
Battery Configurations
The chassis allows for one of two configurations, Two 2S or One 4S. Using two 2S packs, you can run a "saddle pack" style and have the lowest CG and exceptional weight bias. Using one 4S allows for a more simplified setup and allows for a more centralized weight distribution.
Front Suspension
The front upper and lower suspension arms have been designed to accommodate a wide range of flex and stiffness options. Optional inserts have been made to provide extreme fine tuning and will work with the upper or lower arm. The lower arm features a one-piece anti-roll bar link mounts that are in-line with the anti-roll bar for simplified assembly and operation.
Rear Suspension
The rear arms have been designed for optimum flex and stiffness with no inserts. However, optional inserts may be used for fine tuning. The rear arms also feature a one-piece anti-roll bar link is mounted in-line with the anti-roll bar with a BHCS instead of a shock pin for simplified assembly.

Very smooth on bumpy tracks ? this car drives from the rear, throw it into a corner!!
The saddle pack is such a huge improvment and makes the car more stable on tight corners.
Dusty and loamy track, no problem.

Team Associated RC8B4e 1/8 4WD Off-Road Electric Buggy Kit
This was my first kit and it went together flawlessly. Every part fit with zero modification and the instructions were clear. I fitted mine with a Hobbywing XR8 combo and it is so smooth. I went with a single 4s shorty pack configuration and the buggy is very well balanced. Really looking forward to a season of racing!

This is the best 1/8 scale buggy on the market. It handles great, it is super fast, and overall is an awesome car. The one downside is the instruction manual. It is a little confusing on some parts.

I've recently got back into rc racing. All I can say about amain is how awesome this website is. If my local hobby shop doesn't have what I need I can count on amain to have with decently quick shipping. With team associated B4e the build was a lot of fun. It is actually the first kit I bought. Found it very easy to understand the build instructions. I highly recommend this buggy if you are serious about racing.

Team Associated RC8B4e 1/8 4WD Off-Road Electric Buggy Kit
This has been the most disappointing purchase I have made in a long time. On paper it looks amazing. I use hand tools to and the first issue was the cross pins snaped and had to get a replacement from Associated they should be on in the mail. Second the plastic is inconstantly soft most screws lock in tight but some spin and strip out with minimal force. My steering is friction locked by the top plate. If the brace and steering rack screws are tightened in the top plate the steering becomes locked. Barely Half way through the build and I do not want to finish it. Buy shims you will need them. Fit and Finish was a miss for me. The kit is not bad but for the price the issues I experienced were that of a $400.00 kit not nearly $700. Just my thoughts. Might add a star if it drives well.
