The Team Associated RB10 RTR 1/10 Electric 2WD Brushless Buggy was engineered using Team Associated's vast knowledge and success in the 1:10 scale 2WD racing category. Since the introduction of the RC10 in 1984, the Team Associated RC10 buggy platform has won 13 of the 18 I.F.M.A.R. World Championships contested since the class began. You now have the chance to drive a buggy derived from this race-winning heritage with the beginner-friendly, capable and powerful RB10.
This buggy roars to life with a water-resistant high-power Reedy brushless speed control, 3300kV brushless motor, a 2.4GHz 2-channel radio system and the Drive Vehicle Control (DVR) receiver with a built in gyro. The DVR system is able to be tuned to different settings that will allow for more or less gyro control. The RB10 is equipped with the Reedy metal-gear, digital high-torque servo, and a water-resistant enclosed receiver box. All of this sits under the outstanding factory-finished off-road buggy body with wing. The RB10 will keep you accelerating and cornering with the included aggressive off-road treaded tires and lightweight 12mm hex wheels.
The RB10 will perform on most surfaces you throw it at, from asphalt to dirt as well as any prepared track surfaces. This buggy makes for a great basher and a good platform to try your skills out on the track.

THIS IS A GREAT BEGINNER BUGGY!
I purchased this for my daughter and me to enjoy as a hobby. We've taken it out a few times now, and I'm thrilled with how it performs. The buggy handled well on both a paved parking lot and on a dirt track. The tires provided consistent traction on both surfaces. I didn't notice any discernible difference really.
-- Great responsiveness and maneuverability
The XP120 DVC Radio transmitter works like a charm, providing responsive trigger action, which allows for rapid acceleration and breaking as well as a smooth steering wheel which allows for great cornering and maneuverability.
-- Expect a long charge time
The only negative with this combo kit is that the 324-S (ASC27201) charger (which came with this RTR buggy) took 1.5 hours to fully charge the Reedy 7.4V 2S LiPo battery (that also came with the kit) at 3 amps from the preset storage voltage. So, factor in a longer charge time when the battery is completely discharged.
-- Battery is good for a couple of hours of racing
The Reedy 7.4V 2S LiPo battery with T-plug (ASC751) is good for about two hours of racing on a full charge. (Though I'll admit, I'm not experienced enough to drive full throttle. So that battery life might vary for faster drivers.) However, be sure to purchase a battery LiPo battery tester to ensure battery maintenance and safety. I also purchased the recommended ProTek RC "Flak Jacket" Flame Resistant LiPo Polymer Charging Bag (PTK-8120) for the same reason.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase. You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck at this price point. My kiddo and I are very pleased.

Team Associated RB10 RTR 1/10 Electric 2WD Brushless Buggy (Red)
A great ready to run off-road RC car to start out with. This car is super durable so it is a great car to start out with. I accidently crashed into a wall multiple ties after a big jump, hit the pole a couple of times, and just kept crashing into everything at the track and no major damage was found. The car is fast enough to race but is geared very conservatively out of there box so you can install a larger pinion gear and still keep the car reliable. All of the parts are made of durable plastic so there is a lot of room to upgrade if you decide to do so but I would just leave it stock and just have some fun. The shocks do leak a little out of the box and I was unable to fix the issue after rebuilding the shocks but it isn't a huge deal. Just wipe after runs so dust and dirt doesn't build up. I would recommend getting a new radio which will enhance your experience. The included radio works but for a little more you can find many low cost radios that are great and full of features. The included kit tires are ok and will get you around the track but some new tires will make a big difference around the corners.
I use to race in the 90's and am just getting back into this hobby and this RB10 RTR is good to go!

Team Associated RB10 RTR 1/10 Electric 2WD Brushless Buggy (Red)
Took it to a indoor clay track right out of the box. Worked very well other than the tires but that was expected. Overall a tuff easy to drive car out of the box. My 10yr old loves his new race car

Team Associated RB10 RTR 1/10 Electric 2WD Brushless Buggy (Red)
I've had this buggy for about a month now and I have to say with all honesty, I am not happy with it.
From the start I had major alignment issues that never seem to go away. On a flat surface, you might be able to
get the alignment right, but as soon as the car hits something, even gently (even an empty soda can), goes off-road or
makes a jump, the whole front end goes wack! My first major update was a better servo. I opted for the RRS servo which helped, but
my problems did not end there... my next issue was that the 2 pins that hold the front arms attached to the body, kept popping out with every single jump. I thought I solved that issue by installing tiny washers with the 4 screws (2 for each pin) that hold the pin in place, but then on the next lap and a jump, the whole arm snapped off... I bought new Team Associated "oem" arms and now the new arm feels tight and doesn't move up and down like the other one... I was going to put grease on the pin, but then one of the screws snapped off and now that's where I'm at :-/
The only time I had some fun with it was on the flat parking lot, doing laps around a line of cones until the original servo fried.
Even doing that required constant alignment. This buggy was made for the new people in the hobby, I'm afraid it'll made some of them rage quit.
