Team Associated Factory Team B4.2 2WD Competition Electric Buggy Kit
Not impressed with the build of the car - pins with unfinished ends, ball stud without hex in the top, major mold flashing on the chassis, shocks that dont fit onto mounts, front A-arms binding. After some work to resolve build issues and and a little tuning on the track, I have to say, the handling of the car is awesome! The flexibility in tuning and plethora of knowledge online made it easy to find a set-up to my liking. I would recommend replacing/upgrading the all the ball cups right from the get go, as I have already broke 5 of the stockers.

What can you say..it's an Associated and a 2wd. Build was easy, some parts aren't in the same bags, but nothing that some patience won't fix. Manual is easy to follow. One thing I will say, I had this same problem with my SC10B and SC10..some screws seem to back out a little in certain spots, usually around the rear chassis brace and lower front shock mounts. I don't know if it's weak plastic on those areas or something that just happens from constant removal of the screws with an Associated, but all three of mine do this. Even used Loctite and still happens so..have extra screws on hand in case you lose some.
Overall, an excellent buggy that drives great as long as you set it up right. Speaking of which, all I did was experiment with different shock oils and shock positions and everything turned out great.

Amazing kit. Super easy build, seriously. I can, so can you. I noticed right away that it doesnt have a servo saver. But it is a designed racer, so it shouldnt have to put up with much abuse. I popped in a hitec hs 5645 mg, also using holeshots all 4, lrp works team & x20 9.5 system. Great buggy. Go A-team. 27 world championahips and it goes to show.

Very nice kit. My first car build and it went pretty well. I've built helis in the past and this was a breeze. Some of the arms had some binding and some of the parts do have quite a bit of flashing - nothing a hobby knife and some patience can't fix. Love this car on track. Handles great and those shocks are so plush.

Very happy with this car. The build was fun, and very well explained in the manual. Seems durable so far, as others have said replace the ball cups. I built the kit, then got a setup from the Associated web site and the car handles great. The parts availability is one reason I went with Associated. This kit is great value for the money with all the upgrades that are included. Beware that the painted bodies currently available do not fit this car because of the +8mm chassis.

A great buggy for any skill level, the B4.2 comes with all the cool new stuff from Associated. The 12mm bigbores help make for a smoother and faster buggy. The vts slipper also helps by creating a more reactive and consistent power band. It is a good buggy to have for a good price.

I Love this car too.. I sold my tlr 22 after building this kit, drive awesome, I buy mine a local hobby shop, and I will buy one more for parts and one more for a shelf queen. I practiced and my local track, 4 shorty packs, and raced it the next weekend 2 practices and 2 heats and 1 A main, nothing broke. Still nothing broken just a crack on my wing. awesome buggy.

Great ride, build was smooth and all are great. Has all the good stuff in the B4.2 package. Love this car.
