This is an optional Team Associated Factory Team Aluminum Shock Mount Pin Set, and is intended for use with the Associated SC10 4x4. These pins are used to secure the lower shock end to the suspension arm and will help to reduce un-sprung weight, for improved suspension characteristics.

I ran these in my RC8.2e also and bent one but for the most part they hold up pretty good. They take a lot of punishment.

These also work with the RC8.2
They don't stand up to direct hits from track pipe or pipe spikes- so get extras. They do away with a nice bit of unsprung weight.
