This is the Team Associated B44.1 Factory Team 4WD Buggy Kit. The RC10B44.1 Factory Team kit is the next generation in a long line of race-winning 1:10 scale 4WD electric powered buggies. The B44 project came to life as a cooperative effort between Team Associated and JConcepts’ Jason Ruona and Brad Reelfs. The partnership was proven at the highest level of competition with Team Associated’s Ryan Cavalieri winning the 2005 I.F.M.A.R. World Championships in Italy with the BJ4 World’s Edition. Since then, the production B44 Factory Team has continued on to win with three R.O.A.R. National titles, as well as sweep the podium at the 2007 I.F.M.A.R. World Championship in Japan placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

With the advent of LiPo batteries and brushless motor technology, R/C cars are lighter and more powerful than ever before. These changes inspired the Team Associated engineers in Area 51 to combine unparalleled electrical power advances with championship-caliber buggy performance. With great pride, we introduce you to the RC10B44.1 Factory Team buggy.

Team Associated B44.1 Factory Team 4WD Buggy Kit
Wow !! This car WAS worth the money.I've been racing a dialed B44 for two years now and I had a ruff time selling it to purchase this car but man I'm glad I did.The only problem I had was I broke a couple ring gears in the first ten min.Figured out that my rear case was a factory defect.Replaced that and it has been running strong.I picked up a second or two on my home track and getting faster.I have 3 hours on the car now with no problems .It handles great and jumps even better.Im running a Tekin RS Pro with a 6.5 motor. The car is very solid and stronger than my B44. The body is sick. It gives the car a whole new look. It's now my favorite car in my fleet of rc's. You cant go wrong with the new B44.1.

Team Associated B44.1 Factory Team 4WD Buggy Kit
Overall, I'm happy with the kit. I did strip the rear diff pinion and ring gears with the manual's placement of the shims, 2 out, 4 inside. I did run 3s batteries in parallel though. When replacing them I read a recommendation on shimming more on the inside to move the two gears together which is working well so far. This is likely the clicking noise under acceleration the reviewer mentioned before me.

I broke the left front suspension arm also but again, this is with many heavy crashes and some cartwheeling. It finally gave out on a fairly easy landing.

These are only a few of the parts recommended to have spares of in any case so it could be much worse.

The buggy handles great and is easy for me to control compared to a 1/8th nitro SCT being new to practicing on tracks.

Excellent kit. Easy build and very high quality parts. Watch my review on youtube, just search "Zef Racing" or "B44.1 review" and then look for the "ZefRacing" youtube channel.
