The Tamiya 1/10 Toyota 4x4 Pick-Up Mountain Rider Limited Edition Kit is a 1/10 replica of the popular Toyota Hilux, an incredibly popular platform in the U.S., Japan and beyond. This scale model features a ladder frame like the real truck, with a user selectable 3-speed transmission that offers 4WD (1st gear) and 2WD (2nd and 3rd gears), while allowing on the fly gear changes.
The realism doesn't stop there! Sturdy suspension with metal axle housings, leaf springs, shackles, and radius rod in the rear give the truck a realistic look. A metal front under guard protects the axle when tackling tough off-road conditions, while 123mm diameter tires and chrome plated wheels help you roll over obstacles. All this detail is capped off with a detailed and durable injection-molded body with roll bar to give the model a stylish, custom look.

Tamiya 1/10 Toyota 4x4 Pick-Up Mountain Rider Limited Edition Kit
The Tamiya Toyota Mountain Rider is a very detailed, fun to build kit. The bad thing about it is I had to stop because some of the electronics are on back order. I'm about 3/4s done and enjoyed the build so far. Didn't want to go on with out testing and adjusting the servos, esc and making sure all cables are the right length. The instruction are very good once you get the trend. Happy I got it so far. ENJOY!!!!

Tamiya 1/10 Toyota 4x4 Pick-Up Mountain Rider Limited Edition Kit
Always dreamed of having a Tamiya Bruiser as a kid. I like the look of the Mountain Rider more than the Bruiser, but the build is essentially identical. Lots of parts. pay close attention to the instructions. make sure you have a good phillips screwdriver to avoid stripping out some of the screws. Take your time and enjoy the build.
