Super Driftech Tires come conveniently pre-mounted on stylish chrome-plated spoke wheels. These tires are made from low-friction resin material, enabling effortless drifting and reduced tire wear compared to using conventional rubber tires. Good looking drift tire at a modest price.
Bought these for a Traxxas 4tec 2.0 too have a fun drift car. Because it’s not a dedicated drift rig I didn’t want to break the bank on proper drift tires. I also wanted a good looking wheel so this ticked both of those boxes. Not listed was the offset which I took a gamble on. It’s seems they’re +/-0 offset so on a 4tec they give a more “tucked” look in terms of the track width, depending on the body of course. They’re also not compatible with the 4tec brake rotor and caliper parts so you’ll have to modify the inside spoke molding a bit. I did so with a dremel without much fuss to make them work.
In terms of the plastic compound for drifting they durable and definitely fun on smooth concrete and poured concrete. I’m running the tires mostly in my garage and driveway and they’re perfect under these conditions.
