This is an optional 28T Helical Pinion Gear, and is used for the Tail Drive Gear on the Synergy 766 helicopter. By switching to the 28T gear, this will provide an effective tail gear ratio of 4.5:1, which is suited for headspeeds between 2200-2250 providing a ssimilar tail rotor RPM compared to the factory provided 27T pinion within 1900-2150 headspeed. With this 28T gear, you are able to use up to 106mm tail blades.
